Heart in need of a defibrillator after yet another HEART BREAKING loss

HeartvRedsHeart broken. Almost certainly out of finals contention. This is the news as they lost 0-2 at their fortress that is AAMI Park to Adelaide United. Not the result Matt Thompson wanted on his record 200th A-League game.

Heart were favourites to win the match in most circles, with Adelaide’s poor recent run of form. However, the Heart haven’t played to well recently either. Both teams looking for a win, after poor performances, it we set up to be a cracker of a game.

The Reds came out strong, and after only a few minutes, the Heart’s keeper Andrew Redmayne needed to make a save after an excellent shot from Juric. From that moment on, Adelaide always looked like having the edge.

Melbourne Heart tried to make something and had a few shots. Galekovic made a few great saves and kept Adelaide from conceding.

In what some Heart fans may call a soft penalty in the 40th minute, Adelaide took the lead through Dario Vidosic. From that moment on, Adelaide didn’t look really threatened.

Less than ten minutes into the second half, Adelaide sealed the game with a 52nd minute goal from Ramsay.

The game was over then, and the score remained 0-2 for the rest of the game.

The result sees Heart lose their good home record, and almost all chance of finals football. Heart should probably go and buy a defibrillator to kick-start themselves after another heart breaking loss.
