i understand your point and i can understand why they didn’t reveal anything on the night, but makes having a Sydney FC forum pointless IMO, could’ve just put the presentation on Youtube and not have to deal with stupid questions from the audience for 2 hours….saves everyone time.

but i guess the club had to do something to show it cared after the events of the Sydney vs Adelaide game….

For me there is a bit of criticism towards the club that is unwarranted. The current owner and board were given a hospital pass from the previous owners and boards and are trying to fix something that was clearly broken. How many Sydney FC fans have put in $6m of their own money to bring ADP to the club? How many Sydney FC fans have owned and run a football club? How many clubs have had financial support from the FFA or government? Sydney FC haven’t, they have had owners that fully fund their club.

Do they do everything correct no way. If you buy a rundown business where the previous owner and management have not done a good job, it takes time to turn things around, make changes and get going forward again. If the current board have increased revenue from $5.5m to $11m, then I think they are doing something right.

My big concern was about producing youth going forward and I think the COE is great, but will take time to get up and running. Having Sydney FC teams from U12’s up is a great start at identifying young players.

I don’t think the club needs to give the fans a step by step plan of what they are going to do.
