Melbourne Victory's Northern Terrace set to Return
After a season-long protest against the draconian measures placed on them by the FFA and Melbourne Victory, the team’s major active supporter group is set to return. One of the brightest things in football is the atmosphere and passion we experience when we set foot into the stands on game-day. As a Melbourne Victory fan and Northern Terrace regular, it’s easy for me to say that last season was one of the darkest in the clubs history, from a fan and atmosphere perspective. We experienced a series of restrictions that were ultimately in place to stifle the growth of our Terrace, which ultimately led to the protest that was in place for all of last season. However, things have finally taken a turn for the better with North Terrace Melbourne’s official Facebook page today releasing a statement announcing that an agreement has been reached and the active supporter group will be back next season. Not only this, they also made it known that the standing capacity will double in what is a real win for fans and football in Australia.
