2015/16 ‘From the Stands’ A-League Competition

We are running an A-League competition this season to reward our loyal followers. The competition will require plenty of tips throughout the season and a mix of expert knowledge and a few lucky guesses at times.

Thanks for everyone taking part; let’s hope the competition will be as exciting at the 2015/16 A-League season.

HOW TO ENTER:

Email your details to fromthestandsal@gmail.com and we will send you an entry form. Once you fill the entry form out you are IN.

HOW MUCH TO ENTER:

FREE (Of course)

RULES OF THE COMPETITION:

1. You must enter the competition before the commencement of the season
2. Points will be awarded four ways.
3. One entry per person
4. The person with the highest amount of points shall be deemed the winner.
5. Any decision made by ‘From the Stands’ will be final

HOW TO SCORE POINTS:

There will be FOUR ways how you can score points throughout the season. You will be required to submit multiple tips throughout the season, but we will give you plenty of warning.

PRESEASON PREDICTIONS

You will be required to submit your predictions on how the 2015/16 season will finish. There are TEN categories you will need to select and you will receive TWO points per correct tip.

• Who will be the 2015/16 Champions (Winner of the Grand Final)
• Select the top SIX teams
• Who will finish last in the 2015/16 season?
• Who will be the Johnny Warren medallist?
• Which team will score the most goals in the regular season?

WEEK BY WEEK

Every round you will be required to select ONE team and you will receive their goal difference as points for that round. Each week you need to submit your team before the first game of that round commences.

Example

Round One

Western Sydney 3 defeated Brisbane 0

Adelaide United 2 drew with Melbourne Victory 2

Central Coast Mariners 1 lost to Perth Glory 2

If you select Western Sydney you will receive 3 points, if you select Victory you receive 0 points and if you chose Central Coast you will lose 1 point.

If you don’t submit any tips you won’t receive any points.

If the game is postponed you will receive the points when the game is played.

SHARP SHOOTER

Every month you will be required to select ONE player and you will receive ONE point per goal the player scores over the calendar month. You can select the same player for different months throughout the season.

BONUS ROUNDS

Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Website for a few ‘bonus rounds’ throughout the season. These have not been finalised just yet but once we know we will be sure to tell you.

THE PRIZES

We have yet to finalise any of the prizes yet but ‘From The Stands’ will put up either a 12 month subscription to Four Four Two – Australia Magazine (Value $70) or a 12 month subscription (Value $75) to Leopold Method.
