FFA Cup Preview – Broadmeadow Magic vs Brisbane Strikers
TUESDAY 29TH JULY 7:30 KO
MAGIC PARK, NEWCASTLE
#BMMvBS #FFACUP
Brisbane Strikers return to the Australian domestic stage, just over a decade after their final season in the former NSL. The trip to Newcastle will be the first FFA Cup game telecast around Australia by the Fox Sports team. The entire match will be shown live around the country, in a return to glory for the former national champions.
Broadmeadow will be hoping to take the home ground advantage and keep a more fancied Brisbane team at bay. The Magic will need to produce exactly that if they are to stay in touch with the Strikers. Like fellow NNSW strugglers South Cardiff, Broadmeadow will be looking to make the most of their 15 minutes (or 90 minutes) of FFA Cup fame. A 3-0 win over bottom team Lake Macquarie will have the Magic brimming with confidence.
